@punishmenthurts Yes. Privacy was invented in modern times, but for good reason, modern times require modern solutions. We interact with millions of entities in ways anonymously mediated through financial transactions.
The old pro-social ways of safeguarding decency toward each other don't work when we don't personally know everyone. Instead, if I don't know them I'd better make sure they don't "know" me, have information on me, and abuse the information assymetry.
