@vriska @mametsuko Except it's a risk that has a probability of occurring so low it's not worth it. Also I'm not saying you *personally* shouldn't wear a helmet, heck I'd even typically recommend wearing one.

But helmets for commuters is kind of like saying people should wear safety shoes at all times instead of at precise at risk situations where we know they do actively help, and that one for bicycles is sports, not city where there's well maintained bicycle paths (so no potholes).
