The thing in in rhe Uk is that they changed a bunch of laws around this and most tenants don’t know about the new laws, for example they can’t charge you for a deep clean out of your deposit. Our letting agent was saying he’d had a tenant manage to friction burn a big hole in a carpet with an exercise bike and the courts said it was legit wear and tear.
