@feld @raucao It's part of a giant government operation so that it can push policies it itself wants by laundering money through NGO grants to child welfare orgs that all donate money to each other to cover the trail.

Remember this when infosec guys claim that even child welfare orgs don't want chat control, who are you gonna believe, them or the welfare orgs that take money from the government and then put up billboards asking the government to protect the children.
