@Flaky@furry.engineer The problem I see with Bsky is that it pays for its usability with a kind of decentralization that brings it very close to centraliztion. The network is comprised of many modules that are theoretically interchangeable, but in practice the people behind Bsky host critical and resource-intensive modules and if they were to shut down, it would be hard to recover. It's still better than a fully proprietary network, though, where that chance is 0%.
