My former stray, who was abandoned by her first owner as a kitten, is sweet and normally well behaved at the vet. But her claws kept her alive as a kitten, and in the 13 years I've had her she's never submitted to toenail clipping. Anything else, yes, but not that. Even the vet had to sedate her to do it. She is 8.5 pounds of berserk warrior terror if you try to clip her nails!
