In a vacuum, a happy family can be depicted in a number of ways, for any number of reasons, with very little inherent overlap with politics.
A White family being depicted is inherently going to be political because "Whiteness" is a relevant point of controversy in the current climate (that isn't a moral statement on my part- just an observation)
