- Embed this notice@SuperDicq The issue doesn't appear to be guns, as guns by themselves are a harmless piece of metal - someone needs to load a round, aim it and fire it for them to be deadly.
If I remember correctly, a number of countries with similar amounts of firearms per capital don't have the same problems.
If I remember correctly, the biggest issue is suicide (due to availability seemingly caused by poor storage practices), followed by gang violence, followed by other kinds of homicide and school shootings, while they are a large problem, are not a leading cause of death (of course there are many idiots who take a loaded firearm into a school and negligently discharge into the ground or into the air and all of those incidents are counted in the tally).
