    @Polychrome I have a D5600 that I'm very happy with (mostly do outdoor shots). One thing I would recommend is a tripod so you can take dark shots with extended shutter times without blurring.

    DSLRs may be 'old tech' but it's the most cost-effective way to get into the hobby.
