But because they tend to be “too large to defederate from” they keep getting a pass because “we can’t punish all the people that aren’t doing anything wrong.” I think a lot of the problems on Fedi could be solved by letting the user turn off replies. PixelFed is working on that now and I’m hoping it’ll trickle to GlitchSoc soon.
