@futurebird yeah, basically. Couldn't agree more. Like it says a lot about our society that we're committed to pretending these problems don't exist precisely until they affect rich and important people, or cops or whatever.

Just read about a Jan 6th guy getting 20 years and I'm reading the story and he's done this shit 3 times already against protestors with 1 charge total, 200 days in jail. Then he did it cops so it's 20 years. I'm glad he's toast, but that says everything about who matters.
