@BeAware Hell, few of the psychiatrists get that there's a sweet spot. IMHO. They should ramp up the dose until you get anxiety and then back it off until ADHD returns and set the dose halfway in between.
My SIL got on a new med for something and had to get off of her ADHD medicine. She realized she was taking way too much because she felt better with none. Her doctor had been ramping up the dose to make it work better.
I can't take the stimulants any more because I suffer from tachycardia.
So, I'm on Stratera but we've been diddling with the time of day to take it. I take it in the morning and I spend the afternoon being drowsy. I take it at bedtime and it keeps me up. I'm having a hell of a time remembering to take it around 4PM. I'm going to dig out one of those daily pill things and set a reminder on my phone.
