@Tony @Crux_Invictus @lichelordgodfrey Catholics do not accept trans people. That statement from the Vatican was incredibly gay and they tried to walk it back because they saw how badly it landed. At the end of the day, we aren't dealing with normal rational people who have just slightly moved away from God, and I think there are enough bad actors in the church feeding bad advice to the bishops who may want to genuinely outreach and teach these people that they're not irredeemable and that God still loves them and wants them to repent (part of that means de-transition). It's an extremely fine line and not something that can be put out in a few page white paper announcement IMO.
