You are also free to inform your admins, as a last resort, of instances that may violate laws or otherwise jeopardise the host where your home instance runs from. One of the points of the Fediverse (i.e. not 'Mastodon') is that you, not an algorithm, can curate your own experience. This is a feature, not a bug.

You are not free, however, to enforce your ideals on those radicalised by the same things you believe in. I shall continue not being one of those 'folx' you denigrate by calling them that, in lieu of speaking correctly.

In any case, I hope your experience here improves and that you find people worth conversing with. It takes time to find what works best, and I'm sure you're not the only one trying to get the balance right. It's very different to what the major social network data silos think is best for their users.
