@Suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com but yeah a second hand wheel and pedals are fine. I have a Logitech G27. More expensive stuff is definitely better but I'd rather spend money on something else.

You can't play racing simulators with a keyboard however. You need analog controls for all the pedals and the wheel (in a real car it would also be very problematic if the throttle or brake only had a on or off position, same with steering wheel left/right)
