What do people expect when they voluntarily pay for and install botnet agents into their own computers and then their command and control server goes down? A real botnet agents would fail silently, being designed to run hidden, but this kind of botnet agents would have to cause mayhem and render the equipment inoperative by definition.

It's only funny that it did so in such a catastrophic fashion. 🤪
