- Embed this notice@thatbrickster @kaia animal fat? My SafeCatch canned tuna here, canned with water (gross), has 0g of fat, 0g of carbs, 24g of protein. To get fat I have to buy fish that's canned with olive oil.
SafeCatch is also an option for heavy metal concerns, since they test each fish.
My own suspicion/schizo theory/unsubstantiated cope, is that all food has these problems, that all food sources should have fish's guidelines of "don't eat more than #/week so that poisons don't build up", and we only don't get those guidelines because the hazards of fish are safer for researchers to study, because literally anyone can fish with minimal capital investments, so the big moneyed interests are elsewhere.
