It has only been a handful of days, so I won't assume in which direction Trump's brush with mortality has leaned him--but I do wish it were more considered that the brush could lean him toward either of two directions: "The country needs to calm, come together. I must work to bring Americans--all Americans--peace." behavior rather than an acceptance toward "These people are not here to negotiate, and I shouldn't want to negotiate with them."

He does not plan the RNC, but his reactions to the RNC events have me thinking he's leaning toward the first, "peaceful" option, imagining it's an option at all.

Imo, he still imagines he'll use the system to correct the system.
