@sun even in germany there's a littering problem with food containers, and homeless people dig through them for cans and bottles they can return for a few cents

idk what the attitude is in japan, come to think of that. like, do people just pretend not to see them struggling? what about food banks? are average people or vendors somewhat compassionate and generous?

i've never looked into that but I'd be very curious
