If it is small enough it won't be bad.

Large ones you have to do in stages (form divided into sections) if you do it by hand.

Done both. Last few been huge or large at least so used concrete company to pour but we built the forms and did the dirt work and put in the steel.


Small one cattle panel type stuff makes reasonable strength on bricks or whatever to get it at right height.
