Everyone knows the Mad Emperor Caligula.
But nobody knows Gaius Julius Germanicus. Because the jews of academia have written him out of history. So, who is Germanicus? Why, he's Caligula.
So, what gives? Well, I'll tell you. Around 40AD, Germanicus hated the jews. Despised them. He had their temple at Jerusalem desecrated and ordered statues of himself placed in it. When Philo the jew of Alexandria (in Egypt; then a Roman city) came to demand jewish self-rule in Alexandria, Germanicus pretty much ignored him, and even when Philo managed to get an audience in his presence, Germanicus scoffed at him and sent him away.
Shortly thereafter, Germanicus was murdered by his own bodyguards. The only record? Written by a jew. From that time on, Germanicus was slandered as "Caligula". His name was made synonymous with debauchery and madness, and depravity. To this day it is hard, almost impossible, to find a work that addresses him by Germanicus. Always Caligula. He is essentially the Hitler of his time, according to the jews.
