you pretend you didn't and keep your damn mouth shut, lest you be voluntold to fix it with mandatory overtime, and later get pulled into a meeting with HR and a manager from the home office 2500 miles away because your productivity metrics are below average. they don't know you're taking the time to find and fix serious problems before they cause an expensive and dangerous failure, and they don't care, the computer says you're a bad employee.
