@ATLeagle @w7voa The design for the style of ammunition is to ricochet the round off of terrain into the legs. As used--from the spotty statistics we have available, due to there being no standards for recording deployment--the rounds are 3% lethal, with 15% of hits [resulting in medical care] causing a permanent disability. The ones using these rounds *know* they can cause permanent injury with certain aim points. In the US, they are *counting on it*.
