Evan Prodromou@bamfic sort of. The OP's server keeps a list of replies to a post, which is available to remote servers. However, Mastodon keeps its own list of replies on the remote server instead. Using the OP's replies list would let OP's server (and OP) control what appears there. No changes necessary. However, we can also add an advisory flag that says what kind of replies will be accepted, which doesn't yet exist.
