Pride exists to centre #lgbtq experiences, not to dilute them for straight consumption. "Family friendly" is ok, and it's a kind of progress, yes, but it's not welcoming for all.
The event felt like a kids' carnival, and the drag show was all straight folks. It decentred #lgbtq folks from #pride
And that's not right.
