Jay Baker@Pepperbike @Lylamehta True, but because it's shifted not by natural forces, but political forces - the UK's Labour Party is an excellent example of how agents of capitalism have spent years destroying and purging the populist left within their own party, even when it had all the hallmarks of an election-winning machine to transform the country. It's what capitalism does when in crisis: it relies on authoritarianism to survive.
