It's been 2 months since Israel blocked critical supplies of food, aid & water. Gazans are slowly starving & dying.

The silence & complicity of the international community is nauseating.

When they want, coalitions of countries do come together to push for an end of hostilities (e.g. in Ukraine or India/ Pakistan). But in this case, the West is happy for its arms to be used in enabling genocide amidst mass starvation & dehydration.

Scholz, Macron etc have moved so far to the right recently. It clearly hasn't paid off with their parties getting trounced in the European Elections. Wish Centrist & Social Democratic, Socialist Parties across Europe would not always feel the need to move so to the right

Devastated to hear this tragic news. Prof Saleemul Huq changed the nature of climate change debates due to his focus on climate justice, locally-led adaptation, the needs of LDCs & loss & damage.

He was a wonderful colleague, mentor, communicator & change-maker & inspired so many around the world.

A huge loss for the climate community around the world . But his massive legacy will endure. Rest in peace & power
