As I have said for year: #climatechange is #water change. Water or lack thereof is what impacts people the most, directly or indirectly. This is why being both a water scholar & a climate scholar makes me immediately wonder about histories & #geopolitics around water in all climate #disasters. #maui is an example.

No, your body cannot build tolerance to endless extreme heat. Unless you’re a soulless capitalist right-wing fascists ghoul. The shite these ghouls try to peddle in late-stage capitalism to the masses just beggars belief.

When I hear climate inaction, I hear not making choices & actions in specific directions: e.g. stop subsidizing #fossilfuel industry, promote faster just energy transitions, get polluters to pay climate reparations, etc. Inaction is action in wrong direction. Just like people assume #capitalism is neutral, it’s not, it’s a choice of certain socioeconomic organization rooted in colonial ideologies & extractive discard culture. It’s the one got us into the #climatecrisis
