@schnedan I agree. I am just surprised that these people thought it was a good idea to instigate a coup in a foreign country (then again, people in the US tried to do a coup here, so I probably should not be surprised).

The fact that US citizens were involved made America 🇺🇸 look bad (the US has a history of instigating coups in Africa via the CIA), so the US will want to ease any fears by cooperating with Congo 🇨🇩.
