@futurebird @tersenurse I posted the other day about an encounter with a lumberyard employee who seems to take that view. I think he was confiding (or threatening?) that he was in a militia.

My late father went over the deep end into Fox land late in his life. Before that he hadn't been so crazy.

Absolutely we can't underestimate the power of propaganda in media and social media right now. Logic has nothing to do with it. It is emotion and distortion.
