@sun @pry Ironically enough Apple and IBM seriously promise an on-device AI as the next step. It still needs an occasional connection for updates. But in IBM's case it's even open source. If they succeed, you'll be able to nurture your own AI, like a child. Well, considering how much modern human children are hooked on online content it's probably a pipe dream, but nonetheless it's funny how someone in The Corporate rebels against this cloud shit.
