I wasn't talking about appreciation. I was talking about respect. Israeli PM's have historically been lacking (take a look at Bibi and Reagan, for instance.)

Oh, and yes, the US does get appreciation, e.g. for decades by the UK governments for WWII (often blindly following the US into every other war 😉) or Germany's for the reconstruction provided through the Marshall plan, to name but two prominent examples.

And I am very sure that South Korea and Taiwan...
