Telling a friend that he is wrong isn't an attack.

Pointing out mistake in a civil way first is better than letting the political opponent do it with malice.

I criticize any politician, royal, or industry leader that I deem to be in the wrong. #1A.

I think, if done correctly, it will strengthen it. Too often, the leaders of smaller/less potent, often non-Western states have been indicted.
