When I traveled to China, I saw some Chinese guys buying Belgian beer at a Western bar, taking pictures of said beer, and then just leaving the beer... there, without taking a sip, because their goal of posting it online was achieved. I also heard a lot of stories of white expats who get paid by Chinese business men for "being in the room" when those business men try to close a deal with other businesses.
