      Using online transcription apps can be a [fraught endeavour](https://www.politico.com/news/2022/02/16/my-journey-down-the-rabbit-hole-of-every-journalists-favorite-app-00009216) for journalists, so I built my own that is completely private — the audio nor the transcript ever leave your browser — and does just what I want it to do.
