schnedan@darnell the (US driven) European defence strategy in the past WWII years was always that European forces only can cover the first days. Predicted times of units to survive here in Germany are like 30min after first shoot. That's what the soldiers are being told!
The deal always was: US is granted usage of our bases and so to gain worldwide operation capabilities. And the US on the other side grants our security.
Hint: Trump should not break the US side of the deal... there might be a cost.
