I kinda turned away from it in what's now called "the new atheism" movement, although I didn't go to "Reason Rallies" or read Dawkins or any of that shit; I just had fun at the meetups.
I was a little annoyed by evangelicals for a while, but as I've gotten older, I've come to realize the massive importance that modern Christianity has on western culture (and by modern I mean like the past 200~400 years .. it has changed a lot).
My sister is still a strong fundamentalist Christians, and I have close friends who are reformed, evangelical, etc. I try to keep an open mind to it, but I doubt I'll ever believe in Jesus and the saints and all the prophets again.
