Like yeah I'm sure that there's at least a few of them that's true for (there was a not so insubstantial cadre of "bernie bros" who wound up drifting right during the trump years, though this is an overstated phenomena, I think) but you have to understand the vast majority of these people are spiteful mutants. They have not "read theory", and when they say things, they don't believe them. Words are magic to them; a tool, a means to an end. Even if those people were the ones coming over, you would not want them.
