The downside is that I'm probably wrecking my physical health. But I can't have kids and the rest of my family is dead or in jail so I don't feel like I *need* to be around for anyone except my wife.

Happy, yeah, I think so. I wish my job wasn't boring, but its safe and stable. I have a loving wife, I own my own home and property, very little debt otherwise, I can fund my hobbies, I go hiking on the weekends and I have time to cook my own meals.
