@icedquinn @bot I can see the post via mitra as part of the toot (cheers @silverpill) but not via bloat (@r) . i understand that this is a boost-toot and mastodon intentionally don't do boost-toots for reasons of one-up-man-ship, i think they are right to link to the original toot, rather than display the original toot. However bloat doesn't handle this gracefully and i think it goes back to what we were talking about a wile ago re not using a html parser.

It MAY be good to return to that discussion, in light of these pesky boost toots things, they seem to affect me as a bloat user and enjoyer fairly often.
