@sun @lain side note i have a few indonesian friends who studied there and they complained about the (corporate) push for diversity there - it's like you want to push for people to live in harmony together without even considering the cultures themselves and how things might clash, a total disregard for subtlety
best part of course was how one of them complained at how racist the californian gay scene was that was an eye opener
