I have those same copy clipboard issues on my Pixel 8 Pro and it's a downgrade UX wise. At the same time, they're the only good phones we got and the only one that's easily rootable as well since the North American market is a very lonely place outside of the Apple monopoly.

I know you have a Sony phone if I remember but even they're scarce now a days here.
