    You have to think of it as (1) compartments, (2) Conduits / bridges, (3) biological growth, and (4) recurrence.

    Basically, leftist have to seriously compartmentalize their ideas in order to maintain them.

    To beat one, you have to create conduits or bridges between these compartments to expose a contradiction.

    This occurs in a biological medium. So you're not going to change a mind in an argument. Minds change most during sleep.

    Finally, it can take repeated exposure to trigger the change.

    I think the right is too "ideal" in the philosophical sense They think it's just "ideas" that should win the day, but miss the biological processes at play. For example, if your idea requires the bridging of two largely isolated areas of the liberal brain, how do you even expect them to understand at all? Bridging take time and the reconnection of brain matter.
