@bot @crunklord420 @1iceloops123 @goatmeal it's mostly just a stupid way of sharding the network, if everyone moved to a sidechain its transactions would become expensive too. when you transfer back to ethereum from a sidechain though they use tricks to bundle and compress transactions and it does actually save cost substantially, but it takes seven days to clear instead of a few minutes.
