Yeah I feel that about Constitution worshipers, but I want to abstract that one layer out and really say it's about people who engage in this kind of idol worship in general. I've seen a lot of really cringe efforts to place all of the faith into specific people or institutions. Specific people (Hitler worship), specific institutions (the Free Software Foundation!), specific churches (Catholicism, LDS, etc), specific ideologies (capitalism, Nazism), and yes, specific races (Whites, usually, since that's what my race is) and so on.

It's a really bad approach to take because it locks people into dispositions they can't escape from once they become impractical and unconscionable. Taking Your Own Side means a lot of things in a lot of different contexts, and when I carouse around online in rightoid circles I see a lot of myopia on it. Is it the JQ? Is it the WQ? Is it illegal immigrants? Is it shitlibs?

And the truth is, it's all of the above.
