The U.S. used to have quota systems, and while I never dug too deep into it, it seemed to be working out pre-1970s, as the U.S. was almost 90% white for its entire run up until then.
Even with violence against whites from nonwhites being constantly exposed, you will still see rightwingers go out of their way to say it's "not about race" before anyone else.
Despite what happened in 2016, the framework for the right and the GOP is still "race doesn't matter" for some bizarre reason. I think it has shifted a bit, but it ebbs and flows because faggot boomers and nu-boomers (like conservatives in their 20s that walk around in a suit and bow tie or some shit) will constantly push back against race realism. So that's why when you bring up the European immigrant issue that you just did, people ON THE RIGHT will be like "Why does that matter?"
