Only idiots didn’t know how SCOTUS was going to rule on that one… it was pretty clear cut in law, and practically if they decided to supersede the safeguard we’d never have a functional executive branch again… assuming the nation didn’t melt down as soon as it was used against the Biden admin.

You can’t by-pass both the separation of powers and due process for the head of the executive branch – not to mention remove immunity for official acts – and not devolve into a new system of government overnight one way or another.
