@John_Darksoul @WoodshopHandman Sand it smooth. But now your making finished, so need to go all the way and make it nice.
Or if want rustic, dont sand, make sure they are tight together, rip to straighten. Then use self level epoxy and coat heavy to submerge. Will look cool rough but sealed smooth in clear. Will use alot.
Poly is not clear, so cant build up like epoxy. Will look crappy yellow.
