Ondřej Caletka@thomasfuchs @zrail not true. All cables with USB Type-C connectors have to support USB 2.0 as well as power lines capable of 3A and CC singling wire. Otherwise it is not a complaint USB cable.
Of course, there is no standards-police preventing manufacturers from producing something explicitly forbidden by the specs. But you can hardly blame USB IF for that.
