Will we be banned for "transphobia" there or using the wrong pronoun? Spinsters is a feminist site with a lot of women who are gender critical.

Like Hebs said, in a private group, no one knows outside of the group what is going on inside the private group. You also, like of Facebook, have your own profile page for a bio, uploads etc. There is a limit to uploads, I believe it is 8 GB disk space? Not sure if they changed that rule or not. But even then, 8 GB in gifs and jpegs is still enormous.
